Re: Two Australian brothers & American friend missing in Mexico found dead

[ Edited ]

Same here about 30-40 years ago hubby and I would drive down and visit San Diego then drive to Tijuana and go shopping and buy all kinds of stuff and really had alot of fun.

I once went with co-workers on a weekend trip to Rosarito beach and ate lobster at nearby restaurants which was so inexpensive at the time.  Never had any worries of being in any danger not like today, it just scares me to even think about it now.

I keep hearing warnings not to go to Mexico, but people go anyway.  Just heard another one this morning on a Phoenix station.

In the 70-80's we took day trips there often to the dentist, candy shop, to buy perfume & silver.  The last time a hummer tank pulled up to the curb and 6 men got out with guns and ran into a bar.  Never went again.
