We live in a semi-rural area with lots of trees.  We periodically see flocks of wild turkeys; adults, adolescents, babies.  We love them.

I'm assuming they are wild turkey and no doubt will take off when they are finished grazing or resting or both. I was taken aback too the first time a flock of wild turkey landed on our property.
