Yeah, boy, that would be great. I have other things that need done, too. Drug Store and other things. Plus, little things that slipped by me.
I don't mind a little crowded if I don't have a time limit or am just browsing, but usually I only have a certain amount of time and need get done and out!

You sound very together! I envy you!
I think all this craziness starts earlier and earlier every year! Maybe its just that I seem to get slower and slower every year!!!

How are you doing? I am sorry to hear about the chemo. My best wishes to you and I hope you have a speedy recovery!!!!
Yes, exactly. The shopping part may not be that bad but its the checkout part that will really do you in!!!

Seriously, I know what you mean! You try to support local merchants and then you get so disgusted and think --- what the? I'm going home and sit in my chair and shop!!!!

I love shopping for the most part. Always have. But this time of the year, I get so irritated. They know it's going to be so busy and they don't hire enough people. It's like they don't care if we are waiting in line forever. Then, you get behind someone making returns or exchanges and that really holds things up.
I agree --- people for the most part, don't want to take the time to give you as good a service as they should. Its a small thing really to put your things nicely in a bag, and makes the experience so much more enjoyable.

I have like 98% of my gift purchasing done but I still have other purchases to make. Regular stuff and then there are always the small things you forget or DH says, how about picking this or that up and so on and so forth, and we need to get that for them. He doesn't like to shop and is not well any way. So, there you have it! So, some of it is not actually my fault! LOL! But there I go. I grit my teeth and away I go -- again!!

Some people don't use common sense. It's like, can you not figure out approximately what each thing is and then kind of add it in your head? I always do. I don't want to be embarassed at the check out. Plus, I try not to be any more trouble than I have to. Plus, I try to be ready at the check out. I try to have my money ready and if I have any coupons, or whatever. It's so rude to make others behind you wait longer while you fumble around. It's called -- courtesy, people!

Yes, that's a good thing to do. But then don't you need other things as you along? I do. I hate it, but I do. I guess I just need a lot of stuff! LOL!

I envy you! Thats nice. I used to be like that. However, I must say that when a friend and I go on our Christmas shopping trip, we go just for the fun of it. We are not really shopping for gifts. We just go to soak up the atmosphere, to look at the decorations, to look at people, to talk, to eat, to talk and talk, to eat, and then talk some more!!!

Yes, and they start putting out things so early ---- way, way before Thanksgiving. So, by the time I even think about buying stuff, a lot of the good stuff is gone. Very picked over. Right on, you are!!
