Re: Trying to Find an Old Friend's Phone Number

If you aren't able to get the number from the son, what about send her some flowers with a note about your visit and your phone number?

Since you know her address, why not write her?

Re: Trying to Find an Old Friend's Phone Number

Beach-mom is correct: phone numbers are very protected. I've actually paid the one-day fee to access someone's number.

My only suggestion would be to try the public library: they might have old directories on hand.

Just searched on myself, put in my name, comma then the state.  Click on Whitepages.  Multiple mes pop up.  I click on the one i thought was me (it will give age est) and then i clicked on View Details, and up pops my landline.  Cell is fuzzed out.  Also has my street address.  No money involved.  Multiple sources with no fee.  Can see cities i lived in back many years.

Re: Trying to Find an Old Friend's Phone Number

@Shawnie - Your advice worked! She's not on Facebook, but her son is. He's a few years younger than DD - of course they don't remember each other! She private messaged him and asked if she could give him my cell number. He messaged her right back and took it. So my friend called and we talked for an hour! I can't wait to see her!

Thank you everyone for all of your help with this!  Smiley Happy
