Eeeeeek. I now know why I live in Wisconsin. I often wonder why when it's snowing and below 0. But, yep, I know why now. Thanks for reminding me. 😳

That snake was big enough to scare me....I don't mind little garter snakes that I see all the time in my flower beds, or lizards that crawl all around our front porch and bushes; they are the good ones that eat the bugs. Snakes I have no use for....venomous or not. I found a very big and long snakeskin that had been shed next to our chimney outside last fall...freaked me out that i might run into its former owner.
