I agree. He is a target because he has been successful and there are some people who hate successful people due to jealousy...

This should be an exciting project to watch. I heard it discussed on a show last week.
In February 2012, The Trump Organization was selected by the GSA as the preferred developer of The Old Post Office, in what was the most sought-after hotel redevelopment opportunity in the country, based on the strength of its development team, vision for the property, long-term potential for the local community, and dedication to the preservation of the historic structure.
Seen as a generational asset by the Trump family, the redevelopment plan will infuse the building with new life. Plans for Trump International Hotel, The Old Post Office Building, Washington, D.C. include the highest-caliber features and amenities – with more than 270 expansive guest rooms, penthouses and presidential suites; world-class restaurants, a café, and a bar and lounge; extensive banquet, ballroom and meeting facilities; a 4,000-square-foot Mar-a-Lago Spa by Ivanka Trump; and a library – as well as a curated museum, exhibition gallery, and indoor and outdoor gardens.
What a majestic building.

At that time he wanted his name removed since he had a small % of holding on the properties. I don't blame him. But this article and thread narrative is making it out as if he is still the owner. I am not a big fan of Trump but I hate inaccuracies that just keep getting worse since nobody bothers to check facts. And just run with whatever is written as if it is factual.
Trump owns a percentage of Trump Entertainment Resorts and they own the Taj. It clearly says that in the article.

What a majestic building.
that is a beautiful building.
I hope Trump doesn't trash it up into the gaudy style he seems to prefer.

The article doesn't make out as if he (Trump) is still the owner. I certainly didn't read it that way. If you can point out what is not factual in the article I would like to hear it.
