Trials not about justice? Since when?

I heard a lawyer on TV say and I am paraphrasing here....that trials are not about justice. Trials are about enforcing laws. Did anyone else hear that comment? It might have been Bozo who said that.

If this is what the legal system believes, there will never be justice for any of us (should we ever have the issue to deal with.)

I wonder what the purpose is for a judge in a courtroom now...especially Perry. Referee? Sad - what this country is coming to...libs at work.
