For the first time ever, my daughters have put our Christmas tree up earlier than just a few days before Christmas, and I'm loving it!  Although it's an artificial tree, they are both so artistic so it's really pretty.  It fits this small apartment beautifully and sits right next to the real wood fireplace with a mantle that we will decorate.  We also put our door wreath up a couple of weeks ago.  Very, very early for us!! 

I would also like to wish all of our Jewish friends a Happy Hanukkah which I believe is tomorrow.

I did put up all my Christmas decorations but not the tree.  I still have time if I decide to put it up.  Enjoy your tree.  I want snow so it feels like Christmas.

I'm never jealous.  But good for you!!

Well it did snow here yesterday and there's still some on the ground.

We didn't do anything last year.  We had Christmas at my other daughter's house, and it was really gloomy here.

I think that's why I'm so happy today.  She put up stockings and decorated the mantle, and we're going to get some poinsettias for the coffee table. 

Just a little, not a lot, but good for the heart.
