Tailgaiting, especially those who think everyone needs to move to the right lane because they want to drive 80 MPH.  If I'm driving fast enough to pass those in the right lane and am over the speed limit as it is, I belong in the passing lane.  If you want to go insanely fast without anyone getting in your way, drive in the middle of the night.

I agree with the poster above who pasted the official rules about how to deal with a merge situation down the road.  People should use both lanes and then take turns at the merge, with one from one lane going, then the other lane, etc.  We had some road work for years, and the half-wits among the indigenous population would all line up in the left lane for a half mile or maybe more.  This makes no sense.  Some of us would drive up the right and then merge.  If they don't like it, too bad.  It makes no sense to use only one lane for an extended distance.  If they were merging just a bit from the end point, I wouldn't have used the right-hand lane.  However, I'm not going to participate in that kind of silliness day after day.

I hate driving - really hate it! If I could snap my fingers and get to my destination that would be great! I have hearted many of these peeves. What has helped me the most with not getting as irritated with it all is listening to classical music on my car radio. I have been doing that for nearly 7 months, and it really helps me stay calm.
