Here are two of mine:
I pulled up beside someone in the left turn lane; I was the second car. The woman was paying attention to something else in the car. When the left turn arrow came on she sat there. I was getting ready to give her a little honk, then she realized she had the arrow. SHE got through but it turned off for me! I had to wait until it cycled through again.
Going south on an expressway, the right hand lane is closed for construction and traffic has to merge into the center and left lanes. MOST of us try to do this soon after we notice the sign. Then I sit in stop and go traffic without moving much. The reason I'm not moving is because people 1/2 mile back race up the right hand lane, then at the last minute have to merge. This holds the rest of us, who have patiently waited, up! ![]()
And don't get me started on people who leave their grocery carts in their former space in a crowded parking lot! ![]()
What are yours?

The guy who nearly rear ended me because he was speeding and the light was already yellow as I was approaching the intersection and turned red before I even got to it.

People who forget to turn their headlights on at night.

The grocery cart thing is a pet peeve of mine but the stores here always have a bagger bring your cart and there are no cart returns in the parking lot because they bring the cart back for you.

People who tailgate.
They might want to drive at maximum warp, but I don't.
Also, when it's stop-and-go traffic riding my bumper isn't going to magically make the traffic suddenly move faster.

I try to leave appropriate space (not a lot but enough if I had to stop quickly) and people weave in and out like crazy.
My biggest pet peeve I think is a safety issue. I am sitting in a turn lane (there is a light in front of me, but in Va it is right turn on red)....I wait and there is nothing coming. There is a 7-11 a few FEET to the right (I'm turning to the right to get onto a highway that goes at least 60 miles an hour, 2 lanes. Every single time there is someone sitting at the 7-11 waiting to pull out onto the same lane, same road, same direction. But here's what drives me and people I know crazy.....the 7-11 people pull out right in front of me (as I pull out). There is nothing coming when I pull out. I always have to slam on my brakes because if I don't, I will slam into the car pulling out from the 7-11.
The other day I almost rammed the 7-11 car...I have tried to wait until I think the 7-11 car is pulling out and THEN go, but the 7-11 car always waits for me to pull out first then goes. They don't accelerate quickly and so I have to slam on my brakes.....it is a safety issue. I heard that one of my neighbors took someone to court because this was done to them. It happened to be someone that lives near us.
That is my main pet peeve. People driving in the left lane (it's called the passing lane for a reason) but never getting back over. Then they go under the speed limit. It drives me up the wall. I think some people feel SAFE over in that freaking lane....I don't know. It really ties up the traffic though.
Phew! I think this was cathartic....thanks I'm breathing better. Ha!

Driving while using a cell phone.
Last yr this guy was on his phone while driving around in a shopping center parking lot. As he drove past me, I hollored "get off the phone." He had the nerve to tell me it's legal to use a cell phone while driving in a parking lot.
Since I had my iPod Nano on, I video taped him as well as his license # & emailed the video to the police department. I stated the date & time as well as showing my watch. Then I swung the iPod Nano around to the name of the shopping center.
Not using turn signals or turning them on AS THEY ARE TURNING!!!!!!
Tailgaiting

1. People who cut in front of me, particularly when traffic is bumper to bumper.
2. People who drive slowly.
3. People who are in front of me who decide to let everybody cut in front of them (and, hence, all of us behind them)
4. People texting and/or talking on the phone (of course!)
5. People who don't get in line at an exit (instead they run up to the front and cut in)
6. People who don't drive through a yellow light.
i could go on forever with my list....but I'll stop.

People who pull out right in front of you -- even though no one is behind you. To make matters worse, they drive under the speed limit.
