Trader Joe’s mini biscotti

For any fans, they have a brand new flavor, maple walnut. Delicious!

It's a very small package for $3.99

Re: Trader Joe’s mini biscotti

I have 3 of their almond biscottis with my coffee at breakfast every day.  Love them.  I'm not a big fan of maple, so I'll likely just stick with my favorites

Thanks for the reminder. Need to make a TJ run.

I adore their ginger snap cookies, real chunks of candied ginger. love their Indian meals for the freezer too. Love that place!---Will pick up some of the biscotti. Love maple.

Re: Trader Joe’s mini biscotti

We have enjoyed the mini almond biscotti, but we are now hooked on the regular size biscotti with the layer of chocolate on the bottom.

@henderson  That wouldn't keep me from buying them. The maple would though; I don't like maple.

Re: Trader Joe’s mini biscotti

I still can't figure out why biscotti is so darn (relatively) expensive everywhere.

I know that they are twice baked, but 'still'.....

They aren't that all difficult to make and bake.  Ingredients are common.

We used to bake them every Saturday when I was a youngster.  With anise seed and a bit of anisette.  I can still smell the aroma.........

Re: Trader Joe’s mini biscotti

We saw them but didn't buy them.

TJ's also had pumpkin biscotti but I think those are sold out now.

Still prefer orginal biscotti.

Re: Trader Joe’s mini biscotti

@ROMARY  yes, if you know, you know. My mom used to make them all the time. I have her recipe, but never find the time to make them myself.  I buy these from Costco.  Not the same, but still very good.  I have two with my coffee every morning.

Linda:  Excellent price!  At Costco.

Years ago, at my supermarket bakery, they were about $14 a lb.

I don't know the price now, as I 'gave up' re: the price.

I'll have to pay more attention next time.
