Re: Trader Joe's, Pumpkin Edition

I was at Pier 1 on Saturday for a Fall decorating class & they were passing out small pkgs of pumpkin spice popcorn.  I took a pkg to bring home with me, but I was unsure why that I took it because it really didn't sound like a flavor that I'd like.  Omg.  I have been on a mission since Saturday to find more!  It is delicious & I did get that TJ's email all about pumpkin, so now I will be making that 30min drive!!  Don't pass this item up.

Re: Trader Joe's, Pumpkin Edition

@Noel7 I have the waffles but haven't tried them yet. They looked good!

I admit that every pumpkin offering isn't something I'd buy, and not everything pumpkin I've bought has been worthy of re-purchase IMO, but there are certain things I go for. When I went last week they didn't have the pumpkin spice k-cups in yet, so I want to get some of those, and definitely the pumpkin bread pudding.

For anyone who likes pumpkin spice coffee, TJ's is delicious. I started with the ground version years ago.

And FWIW, Starbucks now has bottled cold pumpkin spice frappuccino and it's WONDERFUL!

@Moonchilde  Thanks for the tip on Starbucks frappuccino!  I'm going to the grocery store tomorrow and will look for it.  Hopefully Kroger will have it.

I'm so glad to read this.  I haven't gotten my flier yet, but Trader Joe's is on my list of things I need to do.  I'll look for some things.

I don't know why we can't have these goodies all year long.  I love anything pumpkin.  I bet that pumpkin yogurt is good.  My vote for the single most delicious pumpkin thing goes to Dairy Queen for their annual pumpkin pie blizzard.  I wait all year for it.

@Kachina624, I'm with you. I love pumpkin/spice many things (sometimes the idea is great but the execution isn't) and could and would eat it all year round. I certainly do with the coffee. Our Dairy Queen is in the mall 12 miles away. The next time I go I'll give it a try. Not like I should ever have a blizzard, but hey...

It's too bad that for their non-perishable items they don't have mail-order possibilities.

@NickNack I stumbled across it. I went to the grocery store and there's a Starbucks inside. I ordered a PS latte, and looked around within the Starbuck's 'store' to see if they might have PS fraps and there were none. They do have VIA PS latte though, the instant variety.

But as I was shopping in the grocery store, they were in the shelf display with the rest of the bottled fraps. I saw only the larger size at $3/bottle (ouch!). Bought a couple and will keep buying more. Maybe cheaper on Amazon, I haven't looked.

I bought mine at Safeway/Vons.
