Hi @momtochloe

I like to get fresh herbs to put under the turkey skin over the turkey breast, especially sage leaves which I see in the bouquet 😊

I know @Noel7 that is why I am so happy to see these herbs as they will not only work with the turkey but also with some of the sides I am thinking of preparing for Thanksgiving.  I was planning on using dried herbs but now I will be able to use fresh!

@momtochloe

If you have any extra fresh sage leaves, they are delicious sauteed crisp in a little brown butter.  You can scatter just a couple over your mashed potatoes or other sides.

@Noel7 I love sage and the other herbs that come in that bundle so this is a coup for me.

I am planning on trying/making a version of this dressing from Tyler Florence and thought I would share it as it looks delicious:

Hi...Do you live near a Meijer? They have Holiday Foaming Softsoap. We were there tonight and they're on sale for $2.69...penguin, gingerbread man and snowman. There might have been another one...can't remember. I just grabbed 2 penguins for my kids.

Hi @Daisy Sunflower

I'm unfamiliar with Meijer but a Walgreens we go to carried the Halloween foaming soaps so I will look there.  Thank you so much for giving me a heads up!  The new holiday soaps sound so cute  😻

I don't know. I went there last Saturday. I don't know what I was thinking because I don't normally go there on the weekends. I don't know what is wrong me lately, I am just not thinking. Anyway, as soon I walked into the store, I turned around. There were so many people in there you couldn't even look at a product for a minute. I will go back later next week.

I am writing down everyones suggestions.

Not very much interests me this time around.

- Apple tart

- Turkey & Stuffing-flavored chips (maybe)

- Cranberry chevre

- I love their frozen pumpkin pie more than their fresh pie

@Moonchilde

DD got an almond kringle for us and a bag of the turkey & stuffing chips which are delicious!  I think they had them last year too, they sure are good.

@Noel7, I put those in my cart last week, but then put them back. I thought they would be a little strange for me! lol! Next time I'll grab a bag for us to try.

Hi @FUTURE !

The turkey/stuffing chips are delicious imo, they are packed with flavor which means you don't have to eat as many as run of the mill chips.

I don't know how they manage to capture the flavor of Thanksgiving, but they do 😋

I hope you enjoy them.
