I have a Tracfone prepaid cell phone and a land line phone. Where I live does not have good cell service and my battery constantly runs down trying to search for a signal here at home SO when I'm at home I simply keep the cell phone turned off. When you use Tracfone you buy both time and minuets but what I have noticed is - when I don't have the phone turned on at all they don't deduct a day for that . I bought 365 days in November and had 5 days left so 370 total days - now it is April 11 and I still have 289 days left.So I have only used about 81 days on the phone in 160 days.Just letting folks know what I have observed - in case someone else, like me, doesn't need to turn the phone on every day.
