Never heard of this toy until now but I just read about it. They are used to build 3D things, so I dont get why they put them in their hair to begin with? Sounds like parents not supervising their kids and or not reading the labels. Sure accidents happen but so many is questionable.

I wonder if the parents don't realize the hazard?  I'll have to ask my friend how it happened. Her grandchild is very smart and certainly supervised, I know that. I remember I watched mine like a hawk but my daughter still managed to cut her bangs, lol.

I don't undestand how some of you don't understand how some children do this.

They are kids and sometimes kids do stupid stuff.I put this warning on here,to help keep your children or grandchildren, from a lot of pain or cutting off their beautiful hair.

What about people who have long haired pets?Do you understand how that would happen?

I kept a close eye on my kids and now my grands...but hey...i have to go to the bathroom, sometimes.

MoonDance,

I totally agree, kids do stupid stuff. It doesn't surprise me at all that this is happening.

First of all, not all children who will be playing with these are at an age where they are under constant supervision of adults.

Kids six, seven or eight years old could be playing with these in their bedroom, and one of the kids realizes, "hey, these stick to hair"!  Then the next thing you know, they think it's funny to stick them each other's hair.

They may be old enough to play alone, but still too young to realize the consequences of everything they do, until it's too late.

Kids even in their teens don't always know the consequences of their actions.  The rational part of a teen's brain isn't fully developed and won't be until he or she is 25 years old or so. So it's no wonder a lot of little kids would get into trouble with these toys.

Thank you,CalKat...i cannot believe only a few people on here are concerned about their children & pets.

Yes,they have a video on how to get them out,but you have to use gobs of conditioner or veggy oil...by the way, good luck getting "oil" out of your childs hair, with one shampooing.

The poster who keeps an eye on her kids 24/7,reminds me of my Aunt Betty. She always stated that no one in our family looked after their kids like she did.

Well...3 of her kids got pregnant or impregnated someone, before they were 17.

The youngest? He served 12 years in federal prison for shooting a police officer...thank God he was wearing his vest.

I'm just as worried about animals...wanna dump a boat load of oil or conditioner on your cat, then try to give them a bath?

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a pain free New Year.
