This one sounds really bad because boiling the water just increases the toxins.

I would be both terrified and furious if I lived there. Nearly half a million people are affected by this, so far... and if it can happen there, it can happen anywhere. What are people to do if they cannot afford to purchase huge quantities of bottled water? I guess they wait for assistance. People that are "immune compromised" are not supposed to bathe or shower in this contaminated water, yet they tell people it is okay to wash your hands in it? We live in AMERICA, supposedly the greatest nation on earth, not some 3rd world country. How does this happen? Why does it happen? Where is our Congress?.... oh yeah, they are on vacation, probably somewhere not in Toledo. Think about it.

They are on cruises around the world...yukking it up with their hosts from Monsanto!

This issue has been warned about and discussed for a LONG time. But Great Lakes water issues don't seem nearly as important as the water problems in CA, AZ and other states.
Until something really bad happens!

BTW - The EPA is going to have to use regulatory powers for this since this was ANOTHER issue that wasn't discussed to become a law.

Agreed, this is what happens when we ease up on regulations and laws. They were put in place for a reason.

There can be no denying, we are destroying the planet. It has existed for millions of years, it has survived.... but only since the industrial age has this earth seen so much destruction by humans. We will reap what we sow... well not us.. but our future generations.
