Yesterday a kind but pushy woman brought food to our home...soup, cookies, biscuits, and a pie. When the paper liner of the box moved a bit, I saw flecks of black dirt. She means well BUT!!! Her containers are NOT clean and her kitchen is VERY dirty. It is the talk of our little circle of friends. Sigh. Our son and his family (two small children and two dogs) are visiting for the week. Not wanting our family to become sick, I threw away all the food. Now I am feeling rather guilty.
What would you have done? An added point is that I am her pastor's wife. Yes, I will write her a nice thank you note as her intentions are good.
