I have thought of it JSS, because I love to write. But I'm afraid I would reveal too much. When I first started posting here, I revealed too much, and I'm still paying for it, courtesy of my detractors. I still talk about my life because we are so limited in addressing other issues, but I am more careful in what I reveal.

Anyway, thanks for the compliment!{#emotions_dlg.wub}

You could always blog anonymously (using a pen name and business email address, etc.), and of course you would proofread everything first before posting it. You could also edit anything that you feel might cause someone to recognize that it's specifically you, although that would be a very rare occurrence.

Not that it should even matter all that much. Smiley Wink

You know that I've mentioned this to before to encourage you, but screww your "detractors" and others who are h8ters - why do you even care? And why give any credence to their words (though respecting that everyone has different views,) or give them the power to make you feel like your "paying for" any of their bullsh*t? Anyone can get behind a computer and say things that they would never have the balls to say to someone's face.

Are you're sure you're a native Jersey Girl?

Hey, I was born a HSP (highly-sensitive person) and an introvert, was 'different' all my life (still am), and the older I get (now 51) the less power I attribute to others and their opinions of me. I've survived too much in my life for that negativity to affect me the way that it used to.

Especially since most people in our society today have become disgustingly extra arrogant, entitled, and way too judge-y, with almost everyone instantly assuming and judging everything. No one has the right to make anyone else feel 'less than'.

Seriously, consider it, please! {#emotions_dlg.wub}

Many others could relate to you and could take inspiration, and you would be helping them instead of feeling vulnerable and helpless on a chronic or daily basis (like I do, but try not to). You have much life experience to share, your posts are interesting and often witty/funny, and we all need a creative outlet. And there are very few bloggers of an 'elder' age out there, so yours would really be something special.

Talent like that should be shared with the world, and a way of serving God and giving back for the gift of life, including the great blessing of being an animal guardian.

It would also most likely be very therapeutic and cathartic for you, as you seem to have a lot on your mind most times.

Plus, it can be an extra source of income, yeah!

Taking a flying leap off my soapbox now... {#emotions_dlg.blush}

JSS, you sure make a good case! I do have probably nearly a thousand entries in my "journals" which I have been writing ever since I owned a computer (1990 or thereabouts). But I must write realistically, and that's probably my downfall. I need to tell the truth or I can't write it and, as you say, I have lived a long and very interesting life. Very much the Jersey Girl, believe me!!

I have also written letters to the editors all of my life and don't know if you knew of or remember Darrell Sifford of the Philadelphia Inquirer from many years ago. I wrote to him often and he printed me a lot. He wrote about such interesting "real people" topics. I once wrote to him about "the men I have known" when I was about forty, and he published it. OMG if I ever wrote about that here, I would surely be banned, if not by Webbie, then by at least 50% of the posters!! (And I don't necessarily mean "known" in the Bible sense, as I was very, very discriminating when it came to men.)

We'll see . . . if I don't do it soon, I will never do it. But first I have a few things to clear up healthwise, including the dental work I am having done.

Have a great evening, my JSS! I love your sense of personal freedom!! {#emotions_dlg.tt1}
