Not sure why you think Candy is so savvy .... and nice. Her shenanigans and lawsuits were the talk of the town for months on end! No contractor wanted to work with her because she was so difficult to deal with.

She had her landlord try to evict her .... before she moved into her $35 million penthouse condo, which she first spent $$$$$$$ and a year "upgrading" before she moved in!

I saw her when they went to show her home that she was selling. She had so much stuff it was really gross...and I like stuff believe me....but she also seemed cold, very mean like...by the end of the show I could not stand her and knew why Tori was such a mess. Mom's like that ruin their daughters.....

I certainly don't know everything about her. I lived in that area for over 20 years and her behavior was constantly being talked about in the neighborhood .... and in the papers.

Tori is over 40 and should have grown up by now! Tori should have been in counseling twenty years ago, it's time for her to grow up, accept her responsibility in this mess and stop blaming her mother for all of her troubles.

There are women who are really struggling out there with babies and with deadbeats for husbands too. They could give her real lessons of taking care of your kids without support.

@Tinkrbl44 that special I mentioned a few posts back highlighted her shall we say delightful behavior in terms of making people unecessarily miserable which unfortunately clearly made her day. The one that springs to mind was when she was picking out incredibly expensive marble for her kitchen and even at that level folks didn't know what to do with her anymore as she was being such a pain.

My problem with this woman is she married well when Aaron was first launching his career and proceeded to spend as much of his money as she wanted. He clearly had no problem with it but it doesn't give her license to run roughshod over the folks she comes in contact with on a daily basis. I have more than my share of issues with Tori's spending but I also have an equal amount for Candy as she was on the flush side of Aaron's will.

@SeaMaiden normally I would never blame the mother for a child's financial woes but this is for me a special case. Tori was brought up in a very extravagent household so it would be tough after every whim was catered for you to suddenly realize that is no longer the case. Please know I more than wish she and her husband would reel it in but goodness it has to be hard watching your mother blow through your father's earnings (and again, I am not letting Tori off the hook at all but man it must be hard to listen to your mother lecture you about money when she is still spending it like it's water).

Again, for me this whole situation is just incredibly sad.

I think if you have a lien on your bank accounts you are given an "allowance" - the basic amount for the bare minimum to feed and cloth your family and keep a roof over your head.

But it's based on the amount needed by an average family - not based on Tori's spendthrift habits.

You have to be REALLY late paying before liens are issued!

BTW - How much money did they actually MAKE if this is what was owed???
