At one time any of those places would have been fine. Now home is where I choose to be on New Years Eve.

I live outside of Atlanta and while I understand it's high ranking based on what they looked at I have never actually seen the Peach drop in person and I resent I have to see a split screen every year with it and Times Square.
If I'm home, I want to see the Crystal ball not the Peach which always lands too early. It makes my head dizzy to be in a two second time warp.

To be perfectly honest, I truly couldn't care less about 'ringing in' the New Year... Each to their own, but as special occasions go, well, for me, New Year's is pretty far down on the list.

Hoping lots of money is spent celebrating in Madison, WI, always good for the local economy.

Fresno?
Well, wonders never cease. hehe
Anyway, I would hope that everybody is safe and enjoys their celebration. I'm in bed by then and always hoping to be asleep, but seldom am.

Hey, we're number two!. It's always been said that SF knows how to party
We have a lot of fireworks for New Year's Eve and an entire section of The City shuts down for a party.

Nothing against Orlando, of course, but I bet that a catalyst for them being #1 is that Disney World probably does it up pretty HUGE.
SF is always #1 in my heart.
(Yikes, major typos this morning)

Not only is my City not on the list, my state is not represented, either!
NBD, I like living in anonymous little nowhere!
