Top Cash-back and Rakuten Question …

I am new to using both these sites this year...someone here told me, when using Rakuten you have to order on QVC (and HSN) one payment not easy-pay.

Is same true for Top Cash Back?

Just wondering, I could swear one time I had easy-pay in error but still it registered with Rakuten.

Thanks.

@amyb

I have used Rakuten for years and I use easy pay, and never had a problem with getting the correct full amount at time of purchase even though the payment to QVC is spread over several months.   I don't think EZ pay affects it at all, and all were purchased through a credit card, not with merchandise credits or through a check payment.

Same for Mr Rebates - I use whichever one is paying the highest percentage and am paid for the full amount regardless of EZ pay option.

I dont know the answer, I never use a payment plan, but just wanted to add that now Top Cashback has 15% back from HSN. Retail Me Not has 20% back

I stick with Rakuten.  The key is training yourself to remember to access your shopping site through the app or website before making your purchase.  It can't be corrected after the fact unless you cancel the order and start over.  I have used EZ Pay, and payment plans on other home shopping channels, and I'm pretty sure the rebates get included the same way as if it was a single payment. I also believe there's some kind of tracking involved, should you return an item, that the rebate is reversed.

If you think you may forget to use the rebate site, keep a post it note on your device about it. In general Rakuten has very low rates, usually Top Cashback is best.

I order things frequently through Rakutan using easy pay and there are no problems.  What they do is credit your account but don't pay you until the easy pays are finished, or near finished,  and the item is paid for in full.  That way if there are any returns they can remove that amount from your cash back account.  I don't know about Top Cash Back.

Always looking for the current returns on rebate sites.

I have used but no longer use Mr Rebates (which won't pay you your accrued money until you hit $10) and Rakuten, because TCB rates are pretty consistently higher.

I signed up for BeFrugal, but can't remember why, lol.

TCB is my go-to site ...

Re: Top Cash-back and Rakuten Question …

I've stuck with only Mr. Rebates for years because they're so reliable although others sometimes pay a higher percentage.  As of today I've received $6,449. in rebates.

I always put the item in my cart and go up to the final step in purchasing, then sign in to Mr. Rebates, then make my purchase.

I use Mr Rebates, Be Frugal, Rakuten, Top Cashback, Retail Me Not and Extrabux, I go with whoever is offering the highest rate at the time of my purchase.
