Today my dentist bonded an area where I thought I lost a filling.......he thinks maybe the dentist 10 years ago bonded an area where I had a stain or something.....I had only gone to that dentist one time and would never go back.....since my gum in the tooth area has extended...I can't think of the word.....recessed? Brushed away.......he filled all the way up.....I still feel the pain that I had before I went in....the dentsit did not numb my tooth area or gums.......but bonded.......it looks fine since the part that was missing was at the top at my receeded gum.....when I was using my nail to go around the bonded area....I feel a space between the bond and gum.....like I could get a thin thread to go up in the area like floss........is the normal??
If you bond is at the gum line....do you have an area that is open very thinly? I just want the pain to end. It is not like a tooth ache but a nagging slightly throbing. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.
