Took my dog in for her yearly checkup

She lost over 10 pounds from last year! I have been doing long walks with her almost daily since I got my Fitbit..... Best thing I ever bought for health!

actually.... I heard there is or is going to be one for pets that you put on their collar.... why not in this day and age? I am going to put it on my dog I think just to see how it works... it would have to be set up for her weight and stride, other than that it would work just fine!

That is great to hear, gazelle. Our guy should be around 40lbs., and about a year ago they weighed him at the vet and he was closing in on 50. Well, we've been walking him more and more and I can actually tell the difference it has made already. He used to get 2-3 walks/day. We were vigilant about it. Then we got lazy b/c we realized that he was very good and could just be left out of our back door to do his business some mornings. Losing that walk (and sometimes more than one) made him gain weight. He's now looking great!
