10% of conflict is due to a difference in opinion. 90% is due to the delivery and tone.
I actually read the OP post. And each post after. I found OP opinion/ criticism was civil and well stated. It bordered on constructive critisism. Its what came after, IMO that brought out comments that weren't an opinion but an attack. That's My opinion on the opinion of critism.

ok......
so everyone should make a new id and start a thread calling hosts rude, inattentive, over the top and extra loud.
this appears to be ok considering all the defending posts

So you joined this forum today to complain about someone being rude by being rude?
OP wasn't rude. She gave her opinion. We all can state opinions, even if you don't agree with them.
She didn't give her opinion!
She made a blanket statement! More of an accusation.
That's my opinion of her post!

@manny2 - "respectful" sure.........but thread after thread is full of just plain meanness. We all are full of opinions, why not focus on the positive ones?

Not all opinions are positive. @wifey2qt
It is an unrealistic expectation to post on a board and expect only positive.
Of course, but its great to call out the bullies!

just like grown folks should be able to state opinions without it being infered that they are rude, bashing, or unkind
I think there may be a solution to cut down on the vast majority of threads about the host that it couldn't hurt to try
some host and a few vendors could behave as adults in a well groomed professional manner while imparting information about the product being featured
and save the theatrics for the stage
Perfect response.
I just re-read OP's post and there is nothing snarky or rude in it. It's just her opinion. The snarky responses are what's rude, bashing and unkind.
It's ok if people don't like some ofd the hosts. It's also ok if they do. One side isn't more right than the other.

Everyone who posts has to know they'll get some mean and snarky responses. Those aren't opinions. They are just mean and an attempt to intimidate.
