Every Summer, Toni has so much fun with her friends at The Children's Summer Theatre, when they perform plays and sing and dance.
Toni's mother styled her hair and made a Shirley Temple dress for her performance.
In this year's production, the children will be re-enacting scenes from some of Shirley Temple's movies. The girls will be wearing reproductions of Shirley's dresses and performing songs and dances from her movies.
Some of the songs are "Good Ship Lollipop"
and "Animal Crackers in My Soup".
Toni will be singing "Baby Take a Bow", from the 1934 movie, "Stand Up and Cheer".
She will also perform a tap dance.
She is so excited to re-enact the performance of the adorable and extraordinarily talented
Shirley Temple.
Toni's mother made her red polka dot dress,
styled after the famous red polka dot dress that
Shirley wore in "Stand Up and Cheer".

She looks lovely. Her hair is perfectly coiffed with a beautiful red bow; the shoes match perfectly!

You are so spot on in your design: I love the red and white polka dots that are perfectly horizontal on each tiered layer, and the red bow trim on the layers! I love the big bow around her waist, the fullness of the skirt and how it comes out perfectly all around and the lovely puff sleeves. Look at the gorgeous double square collar!! Beautiful big curls, lovely little white socks and tiny red Mary janes.
Does it get any cuter?! And that little red bow on her head- so cute!
