@Shanus

Totally agree with you: Here in PA that long and the same weather change.

Scariest moment last evening before dinner as the thunder and lightning progressed: one extremely loud sky noise literally shook our home as never before.  I thought it was a prelude to an earthquake !!!  😮

@Shanus

 With all the scientific findings as well as the current events, i.e., floods, wild fires, droughts, atmospheric rivers, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc., " climate change " is more than a passing topic.  Globally so many lives have been lost, so many lives devastatingly impacted, while communities destroyed, life savings wiped out, widespread starvation, etc.

And yet, continuing research and early warning from current data gathering are being jettisoned !  Europe seems to be more proactive in strengthening scientific research that would enable them to be better positioned to protect their inhabitants from destruction.

Maybe another Age of Enlightenment is needed.  What a horrible legacy we are leaving for our children and the world.  When they realize what we have done, it will be too late...

It's going to be like this for days ahead.  Today will be the  third day of this.  Searing heat and big thunder storms rolling around in the afternoon.  The stronger the storm, the more the risk of a tornado.  The lightning is especially strong.

Scary weather all over the US.  I think I'll stay in Florida and risk the hurricanes!  Only been in 1 bad one in 85 years!    Not bad odds!

The Earth's climate has changed over millions and millions and millions of years, from one extreme to another.

Mankind just happens to be caught up in one of the shifts.
