Re: Tom Petty on Life Support

Anyone getting deja vu from last year when we couldn't wait to ring 2016 out with all the loss?

RIP Tom.  Your videos were awesome.  Heart

@Laura14

I haven't been paying close attention, but not to take away from Tom Petty's passing, does anyone know how Steven Tyler is since he had a seizure a week or so ago?

Re: Tom Petty Has Passed Away

I remember seeing him in concert, it was a great show . One of my favorite songs is " stop dragging my heart around " , that he does with Stevie Nicks.❤️

@cancun08  I haven't heard anything but I honestly haven't looked for an update.

Re: Tom Petty on Life Support

I think I have every CD Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers ever made, but one of my most favorite CDs with Tom is when he helped form the supergroup 'The Traveling WIlburys' in 1980's.

It featured Tom, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeffrey Lynne and Roy Orbison.

They only did this one 3 CD set to fulfill a contractural obligation that George Harrison had to a record label to provide one more CD and enlisted his buddies to help him with.

It was actually the last song Roy Orbison recorded before he died.

If you like any of these guys, it's an awesome CD, available to listen to clips and buy the CD at the big "A" site.

I love it and play it all the time!
