We always have a surplus of toilet paper.

We use toilet paper daily so we keep a good stock of it all the time.

We always have a surplus of bottled water,

We drink bottled water in the cars, in the yard,

road trips, or anywhere we go outdoors for the day.

I do not see a problem here.

Keep well stocked. Don't stock at all. Seriously, I don't care what other people do.

What??, now we need a physiological study why people stock up on toilet paper?

@Tinkrbl44  If she'd come to my house I would have given her some.  I've given my friend over time quite a bit of toilet paper.

I like a very specific kind.  It's thick.  I kept buying what I thought was the right kind but it wasn't.

I'd say it was probably over-all maybe 2 or 3 packages of toilet paper.

I finally got the right kind.

But when you mentioned that, my first thought was "I sure hope she doesn't have a septic system.....or she'll wish she'd passed on that bargain".

I do have a septic system.  You have to be careful what you put down it.  Even in the kitchen, you can't be putting a lot of food down there.

Not allowed to have a garbage disposal.  My house was built in around (I forget exactly, we built it) around 1975-76.

Things might have changed as far as the latest on septic tanks, I just know you never put napkins down a septic tank.

Not to be too graphic but I wonder if the dye came off.  Some napkins are better than others.  Ha!

I think once this is all over we'll see the impact of this pandemic show up in new home designs and remodels. There will be additional space dedicated in homes to "supplies"; kind of a pantry but a pantry on steroids.

I also think FEMA safe storm "rooms" will trend also.

I realize many have basements for this now but there are several areas in the country where a basement is not possible.

@SharkE  On Amazon today I finally found a 24 pack of northern ultra soft TP. It was 26.99 I think. Been checking everday.  It will arrive Wednesday.  Think it's still available.
