Today was a busy day in my "SPAM" email😮

Guess it's that time of year...the scams & phishing are starting:

8:21 am - Email M&T Bank -- need important info updated- click link -- i don't have anything at this bank

6:14 am - Email Chase Bank - my mortgage payment has not been processed, need updated info - nope nothing with them

8:50 am -- Email from SS they are "suspending" my benefits unless I click link and update info.  Geez, that's sad (šŸ˜‰) cuz I just got my 1st check last week🤨🤨🤨

and this is my favorite from "Apple" yeah rightšŸ¤”! This has been sent to me about every 3 hoursšŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø. I hope the geniuses at Apple know how to spellšŸ˜‰-- because lots of grammatical mistakes -- of course, it's from "undisclosed sender".

@homedecor1- You've just gotta love the grammar in those "legit" emails, don't you?  Apple must be hiring top-notch employees!  Smiley Very Happy

Re: Today was a busy day in my "SPAM" email😮

I too have been getting so much c*rap in the junk mail.  I get at least 30 overnight, and it goes on and on all day long.

My favorite is the phone call from SS, trying to tell us that our SS Checks will stop coming if we don't "update" our info.  The phone # they give to call is the same one listed on our local news spam alerts.  We are both 63, and don't get SS yet.....

My DH sometimes likes to answer the bogus phone calls.  I tell him NO!  But he can't resist "playing" with them.  Yeah, I know, dumb!

His favorite is "May I talk to the head of the household?"  He tells them that "Bobby" is at school...  Like the 4th grade.

DH was forced into early retirement in April.  He doesn't know what to do with himself, and I don't know what to do with him.  HELP ME!  Smiley FrustratedSmiley Wink

Personally, rather than get annoyed at these type of spam e-mails anymore, I just laugh when I read them!

I feel that I cannot help it with the grammar being what it is, and I am not out to be insensitive.

I get enough of these e-mails too--phishing e-mails from banks and other businesses where I don't even have accounts.

My IMac does have "spam" folder.  I just cleaned out 300 spam emails -- I rarely use my desktop --I really wish I hadn't delete the most important one.

I have a relative who passed away in Nigeria (or some country) and he left me a million $.  I need to contact the lawyer in the letter to know where to send the down payment to process my million.

Darn, I could have used that $$$$🤣🤣🤣🤣

I get occasional e-mails with porn insinuations (words, I don't think they have pictures) in them.  I get maybe one or two a month.  I never open them or read them but can see the first few words.  They go straight to my junk mail folder.  I don't know how they get my e-mail address when I have never ever gone to a porn site.  I guess they just generate e-mails that have nothing to do with anything.
