Today's Storm Seems To Be Fizzling Out.

We were to get 3 to 6 inches of snow then a mix (usually means sleet and/or freezing rain) then turn to all rain.

DD is working from home so she wasn't driving on the mix on top of snow coming home.

Well, it snowed some at 7am for a hot minute and stopped. It started again 20 minutes ago but unless it really ramps up we will not get 3 to 6 nches of snow.

She said she could have probably gone in f she knew it was going to putter around.  I said better safe than sorry, 70 miles around in snow is dicey.  The work got gone and that is what counts.

We are in NE PA.

Did you get any of this storm?

I'm in SE PA.  It fizzled out here too.  Was a bit of a disappointment.  Smiley Sad

Started snowing around noon here in east central PA. Ground, road, driveway and walks are covered. Not liking it at all. It's supposed to turn to rain at some point.

I'm in Indiana and we were supposed to get 4 - 8,  It's pretty much tapered off to just flurries now (if that).  We probably got 4 inches tops.  It's hard to tell because it was a wet, heavy snow that compacted on the ground.  Plus the temps have been 33 or 34.

Wisconsin is on the northern edge of today's snow. Only a half inch of snow. Being it is 30 degrees, the snow is melting on the pavement.

I am in Southestern Wisconsin, and we got a bit, but the weather report said no more than 3 inches total, although it is supposed to snow on and off all day!

It is really pretty, but I still have driving in it!

Here in SE MI we have a fair amount with more steadily coming down.  It looks like our forecasters who said 4-8" might be right this time!

Re: Today's Storm Seems To Be Fizzling Out.

I live in South Central PA...Close to the capital city.  We got about 4 inches of snow here.  Right now it is a heavy slush with snow covering it.

My husband is out clearing out the walk and driveway.  I had to cancel my physical therapy appt this afternoon.

We were expecting rain right after the snow, but it hasn't happened yet.  Expecting rain again tonight.  I hope it's all melted by tomorrow.

Weather guessers love to scare the c*** out of everybody.  What about the old days when we just took it as it came?  We were supposed to get it here, NE Ohio, big nothing.

We got just as predicted. A bit of snow and it stopped around 2:30 as it was supposed to. Hope it melts soon.
