Today is a sad day for me

It was one year ago today that we said goodbye to my sweet girl, Lexus. She was 14 1/2 years old and was the sweetest, most mellow, loving dog you could ever hope for. I miss her so much, not a day goes by that I do not think about her. My life revolved around her, especially when she was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in her hind leg at 11 years of age.

I had her for 3 years after her diagnosis, every year was a gift for which I am eternally grateful for.

I know there are so many of us who have lost precious furbabies and know how I feel today and my heart goes out to all of you as well. I am thinking about opening up my heart to a new baby very soon. I want to adopt some sweet soul that needs a forever home.

RIP my sweet girl. I miss you so. You will be forever in my heart.
