That picture made my day, no, it made my month.  I have no doubt that little girl knows who RBG was. 

There were 2 little girls there also, who were dressed like Justice Ginsburg, with lace colllars on.

I don't find teaching a child to be respectful as ridculous and the symbol of wearing that Super girl outfit made a positive statement celebrating Ginsberg's life.

We need to be uplifted and I thank that young girl for her gesture.  As she gets older I am sure her mom will teach her about Ginsberg and all her accomplishments.

Not so @kitcat51 . My grandson is 7 and knows exactly who she is. He even talked about her today in school and all that she has done for this country. I am so proud of him.

I have to wonder how many of us in our childhood participated with our parents and grandparents in honoring heroes.  

Mine always took me to parades and political visits from Presidents and other dignitaries and explained who they were and why we were there.  These events were not forgotten by me.  I still remember waving to three Presidents and I can still see their faces and remember their contributions to this country to this day.

There are no "perfect" role models. Ginsburg was tough as nails and stuck to her guns, but she was known to "legislate from the bench". Sonia Sotomayor does not have the fame and is not "notorious" but she has earned esteemed recognition as well. Both these women are wonderful role models, but glorification sometimes "forgets" the humanity of the people it is imposed upon.

Yep - and that's not the proper role of the court which is why I haven't been joining in on all the accolades.
