@QueenDanceALot  Yes!  The Trader Joe's I go to in Falls Church, VA did the exact same thing, but added one more thing -- they limited the quantity of certain Items to two/person.  I love that store 💛💛💛

I also want to add, that I'm fearful for grocery store employees.  They are on the frontlines of this pandemic in a more *casual* atmosphere. 

People are still flocking to grocery stores--because they need neccessities, or they are hoarding, or simply because they can.  It's the one place where they are *allowed* to go.

They are in contact with hundreds to thousands of people each day and to be in compliance with social distancing is almost moot point for them.  

Whether they are doing checkout, or stocking shelves or simply walking through the store, they are coming in contact with many people at a much closer distance than suggested.

Again, I am fearful for them.

This is definitely a fluid situation. I stopped at Trader Joe's Friday afternoon. I got a parking place right by the door, the store was not crowded and it was business as usual.

My husband just returned from a walk there and it seemed like he was gone forever (just to get garlic and bananas). He said the store was taking all the necessary precautions as stated in the OP. He had to wait outside for quite a while as they only allowed 20 people in at a time. It is 34° with a robust windchill so while he was cold, he felt sorry for the girl in front of him who was ill-prepared. She was in running shorts.

This is good to know.  I haven't been lately, but the aisles are very narrow in my store.  So it they didn't limit the number of people, you would never be able to keep a distance.
