I hate to admit it but I am thankful today is National Fast Food Day.  I have been eating light all month to get ready for Thanksgiving but this may be the excuse I am looking for...............

I'm Thankful DH does the cooking.  Last night we had baked steak, mashed potatoes, carrots with br sugar and a little Orange juice and bisquits.  Today, he has a roast in the crock pot with potatoes, carrots, onions and rutabaga.  There will be enough for tomorrow night too and maybe sandwiches the next day at lunch.

I'm thankful everyday for my wonderful DH.

Today I am thankful for my past decisions and continued strong feelings they were indeed wise decisions.

Today I am thankful that I will not have to supply the Honey Baked Ham next week at my brothers home for Thanksgiving. 7-9lb ham was going to run me around $72.00. My SIL called me and told me that her boss gave her a gift card for a honey baked ham (which she insists on) for thanksgiving.

Girlfriends I've had for over 50 yrs. - one of them is close to 60 yrs.! We all have different beliefs, incomes, and lifestyles, and we don't chat much between our visits (6 times a year), but we can always just pick up from where we left off.  I love them.
