Some of the nicest people I know have tats. In fact a physician that is responsible for saving my life has a sleeve of tats. I say live and let live. 🥰

@busymom22 I agree with everything you have said. if you chose to do research, anybody could see potential issues.
The purity of the ink, where traces might travel in your body, etc. are all issues. This is written up in at least one Dermatology journal I read, and I wonder why this is not being commonly discussed.

So many judgmental people.
I'm sure there's people you come across every day that have tattoos that you don't even see or know about. What people chose to do with their own bodies is their business.

Thank you @Trinity11 . Both my kids are millenials and are covered with tattoos. They are both successful, kind people. ITA, live and let live.

I don't care for tattoos and don't have any.
My son got one when he finished college. I was disappointed.
I knew a man that got a large one on his back and had an allergic reaction to the ink and he ended up in ICU for a week. I would have though that would have been his very last tattoo but it wasn't.

I don't have any tattoos. I've come close to considering one but I kind of like being the quirky one as in no tattoos. Your talk about aging and thinning skin is one reason I don't have one. They're cool to look at on other people but I'm not interested and even if I tried I don't think I could with stand the pain. According to my grandbabies I'm fluffy and tender. They hit the nail on the head🙃 My husband doesn't have any either. Neither did/ does our parents. My daughter has one that I never even saw. My grandson pointed it out to me. It's on the inside of her left wrist and it's done in a semi translucent white. It says gratitude

My DD started getting tattoos in her twenties. She is now 64. Tats (sleeves) on legs, arms, back, also couple of small piercings on side of face, chest and who knows what is under coverings. Honestly many are really beautiful. However it never stopped her in her career, now a VP at one of the largest banks in the US.

No desire. Have never seen an attractive tattoo.
