For all you Twitter folks and/or Titanic History buffs, Twitter has a day by day account of her fated voyage. It started yesterday, a month out (sinking 4/15), so today it's talking about the vessel & makings of the voyage. SO interesting...a little bit of history every day 140 characters @ a time. Highly recommend!
Here's the Twitter description:

Thanks for responding! I suppose I would get more responses if I put the word ""Kardashian"" in the title. I forget what forum I'm in...!

I find the whole thing quite morbid. What's next, minute by minute tweets from Hiroshima?

Thanks so much sidsmom. I will add it to my list of Twitter Following. Sounds like it will be facinating.

Yesterday's post: "#engineering You should have seen how the anchor was transported. It's so big it took TWENTY shire horses to pull it."
Today's post: "#crew We keep a large quantity of green pyrotechnic lights for use as company signals on board, should the need arise." OOPS! #failed!!
I think the vessel would still hold up in this day & age...the construction was that advanced. But to have horses do the heavy lifting? We forget how long ago that was!!

I think these people would want us to know their story.

Thanks, pretty interesting. My dad had relatives that were on the Titanic and he seeks out information about it. However, I am not sure he does Twitter LOL. I will let him know though.

Smurfette: wow...that's amazing you have connections. Even if you don't do Twitter, just Google "TitanicRealTime" & you'll see all the entries. It reads like the person tweeting was really on the voyage. I'm sure your dad would enjoy reading these entries. It such an amazing story.
