I have seen oe once in my life while traveling

they dont reside in NYC

 

first - I didnt know they were a real thing (thought it was made up)

bc they were the size of the coyote

I learned everything from Saturday morning cartoons

@Yahooey! Lol I didn’t know they were real either ! I laughed when read learn everything from cartoon. We have none in upper NYS

@candys mine The Meep Meep comes from an old Roadrunner cartoon.  They were saying Beep Beep, but it sounded like Meep Meep.  It was very funny at the time, It was in no way related to the real thing.  But if you live in the desert you do see them running all over.

Just an FYI that there are two species....Greater Roadrunner and Lesser Roadrunner. Small vs, large. Both look the same just a size differential. I have both in my backyard!

Actually, I do think "Meep Meep" is correct.
