Re: Time to renew Sirius; what are you paying?

I've never paid for Sirius. Didn't listen to it that much when it was a free trial with my new vehicle purchases. In my area there are enough radio stations to provide variety and interest for me without payment. Sometimes I like to drive listening to only my thoughts.

I hate that dance too.   I only listen to MSNBC, CNN, HLN and every now and then one or two of the sports channels. I have on pre set.    I'm less than 10 minutes in the car to anyplace I need to go.  When this subscription is up, I'm not renewing.  Of course, I've said that for the last 5+ years.

I think I pay less than $8.00 a month.  I'm really not sure.

I guess it's lost in translation what DOT is suppose to mean. Update: after more searching I found out what it is. Never heard of DOT until now. There's Paypal, Venmo, and others this is new to me.

Anyway, we have a 2013 Ford Fiesta. Nice car, and we've had it four years now.

@teganslaw , I thought she meant the devices.... Amazon Echo DOT.

Re: Time to renew Sirius; what are you paying?

We only have it in my husband's vehicle and we love it.

After seeing this thread I asked him how much he was paying: $39.82 per month!!!

Apparently the basic package doesn't include the music channels we like but there are so many others that are included that we don't listen to!!

The sports channels are useless but it's like trying to get new legislation passed......can't have this without that.......

What channels are you all getting for $10 or less monthly?

I paid for a Lifetime membership, maybe 12 years ago for $500.

@Andreatoo  I know I don’t get the higher music channels, have no idea about sports but get the cable news.  I’m sure I have the basic package but there are dozens of music channels which is what I’m looking for.

@tucsongal

Apparently my favorite music channel isn't in the basic package!
We suggested they eliminate the stuff we don't want but "it comes with it"

it's rather infuriating!

Like the dang cable channels. It still galls me to see all the good TCM movies I’m missing on Comcast!
