@qualitygal  Your post reminded me of my mom.  She would always get a big jigsaw puzzle at Christmas.  While we were home from school, all five of us would work on the puzzle, which we set up on our dining room table.  Often we would start as soon as we awoke in the morning and be surprised to find ourselves still in our pj's hard at work by noon.Sometimes, my dad would contribute a piece or two in the evening.

I don't work puzzles anymore, but one adult niece is still overjoyed to get a jigsaw puzzle as a gift.

It's a great memory.  Thanks for posting this!
