I love our annual favorite book discussion. 2014 has treated me with several books that I just loved. Here they are:

I've had a sumptuous reading year! My favorites were The Orchardist (fiction by Amanda Coplin) and Pearl Buck in China (non-fiction by Hilary Spurling).

Sunny, great idea! I am not nearly as organized with my books as you are. I am looking for a good read so I will come back here. I will add that I would choose REVIVAL by Stephen King to be on this list. Hope you are enjoying this book. Come back to the other thread on King or in Lainey's reading thread to tell us what you think. Thanks for starting this. LM

Thank you all for posting your favorites. I'm going to have a hard time remembering all mine and whether I read them this year or last, but the first one that comes to mind right away is The Other Typist by Suzanne Rindell.
