Every so often I remember my most ecstatic moments of love.  Whenever I play Jimmy Fontana's 1965 Italian hit "Il Mondo," I cannot help but think of the thrill of great love.

My wish is that everyone, at least once in his or her life, has experienced wild, crazy and ecstatic love.

The movie About Time used the song as part of its touching love story.  The movie was much more than a love story, however; it grappled with the meaning life and love.

Please excuse me if you've read one of my "Il Mondo" posts before.  I absolutely LOVE this song!

It might uplift some spirits tonight.

I swoon over 'Il Mondo' when sung by IL Volo composed of three  Italian men with luscious voices. Look /listen to them on Youtube. I love them onstage with orchestra, in a studio or anywhere. I could melt when they sing.
