Re: Time Person of the Year for 2019 is...

If you reread my comment I said NOTHING about climate change, pro or con. Do not read my mind. I am just stating that this is a child with many problems. Not a fan of using underage children for anything, especially a politically charged topic.

I fail to understand how any reasonable person could not acknowledge what is going on in our world, with our climate, hiding head in the sand?

Attacking other posters about their views and beliefs is never helpful but happens all the time amongst the U.S.  (that's the Usual Suspects.)

@Jewel22

I completely understood your original post & I totally agree with you. I shouldn't have commented on climate change. The point is, her parents are using her as a prop.

@bobby5 can you provide a source for your statement? Or do you know the family personally?

Ludicrous to believe that but if so, does that make her words less true?

No.

You're very sweet to use the word 'reasonable.'

I personally would use 'sane' since we see the climate changing

right before our eyes...and we need to make changes now

for the future. How can one not see that?

I guess teens are incapable of having independent thoughts of their own.
