I really like eBay and when I see an item here or on HSN that is too high priced, then I check and see if it's available on eBay. Most of the time it is, this past Christmas I gave my girls a set of two led light up mirrors that sold on HSN. I saves $75 or $25 a piece.

If I purchase multiple items from a vendor, they usually disclose that they will lower my shipping fees but wait for them to email an invoice first.

I also like that they have actual buyer feedback that can be checked - It's honest - not all flowery-They aren't beholden to a product or a seller-If the seller has let them down, we know it and can move on to another-

I also like the option of bidding or buying it right away-

But, Moonchilde is right, it did used to be like the wild wild west!

I love Amazon Prime.  I buy a lot of things there.  It's so easy to pick it out and zap it's sent.

I just sent my grandson two Super Hero outfits (Batman and Superman).  I was so happy with them just Friday he received the The Flash costume.  Guess who's his favorite grandma....Ha!

I have sent several things (and received things) through Amazon Prime in just two days.  The shipping has always been free.

I also buy a lot of stuff from Jet.com.  They also give excellent service.

@Moonchilde @silentgirl have you notice on eBay that they have cross vendors from other companies? Like Overstock and Wayfair? I've seen them among others on WalMart.com as well.

@JaneMarple, I'm seeing this more in general now. If you look for something on Amazon or by Google search, it will show you eBay listings and Wal-Mart listings.  I've seen Overstock anf 6pm too. I did see that it's on the Wal-Mart site too, when I was looking for the specific puzzle.

@Moonchilde and @JaneMarple

Yes Moonchilde it's true, regarding the shipping time involved with other sellers-I'm ashamed to admit, I really have become an instant gratification kind of girl-

But, this is what sold me on Amazon fulfillment;  I order my dog food through them-Just can't get the one brand locally-One order I was late ordering--had two meals left-When the food arrived the entire box had been opened in transit, all the food had spilled out-It was a mess-I sent them an email about 4:00 pm and I don't even know how they managed it -but, by 11:00 a.m the next morning my new dog food was on the porch-After that, they could do no wrong in my world-Now I'm not late because Alexa orders it for me!

I've had three incidents with sellers through Amazon and that was just enough-

The worst was the Asian company who sells miniature clothes-My Large sweatshirt was like the size of a baby onesie-No lie-They didn't want me to return it, they wanted to give me a discount-They browbeat me until I finally gave up-LOL  That was it for me-

Yes @JaneMarple  I've noticed the cross sales-they've actually been doing that for a while-Stores like Orvis, J Crew and many others unload stuff there-It's pretty great actually, we can order things new at a pretty great price sometimes-I think if more people knew it, ebay might have less of a stigma attached to it-

I have been buying on Ebay for about five years and have never had a problem with a seller.

I usually go to Amazon or Ebay when comparison shopping.

I love EBay.  I compared certain products between EBay & Amazon and EBay always has free shipping and a little lower price on the same product.  Every so often i will shop at Amazon but EBay is my first choice.  Cat Very Happy
