Thundering again.... please let it rain

For about the last 4-5 nights, we get the dark clouds (well, darker), thunder and lightning, the winds pick up and...and... then we get no rain. And we are so dry.

There have been showers all around us for about 5 days now, after an extended hot, dry spell, but it's like someone's holding an umbrella over our area.

It's thundering again now. I'm not going to look at the radar. I'm afraid I'll jinx it.

Please, please, please, let it rain today.
