Re: Threat To SF Police and Everyday People

You know what they say, just because you can doesn't mean you should.

Claiming honesty does not make your response helpful or kind or useful.

@Noel7 is very well aware of her community and her options.

I've never heard of that made up statement of yours in addition to not knowing what Noel is aware of in her community or her options.

Re: Threat To SF Police and Everyday People

My neighborhood is soaked already, but the heavy downpour hasn't started yet.  Luckily I don't live where there is flood or mudslide danger.

All I had to do was move some lightweight plant pots off their little stand so they'd be on the ground if there were gusty winds.  In the past, that's the thing I'd always forget and at least one pot would fall and get broken.

How about you, @Noel7 ?

We are lucky enough not to be in a flood zone, either. The plants and trees are strong so I think we are ok.

We put up a new roof a few years ago and had the fireplace chimney covered, so that’s ok, too.

I never thought about the chimney.  I never use my fireplace so maybe I might do the same, @Noel7

Do you use yours and have a way to uncover it if you do, or is it always covered?

No need to respond tonight!

There is a way to uncover it.  We used the fireplace for years but not recently, especially with the kitties Cat LOL

Off to bed early tonight, it’s been a long day. I hope it doesn’t get too wet.

Re: Threat To SF Police and Everyday People

I certainly don’t live my life in fear or stay at home like a hermit however, I also believe it would be foolish to think that violence or a mass shooting could not happen in any community. Just look at that church in that little town in Texas.
