As an adult, I don't care, but it bothered me when my son was young and we had to stand there and wait. It did provide many a teaching moments though!

I just stopped paying attention a long time ago, but I think if I had young children I wouldn't want them looking at that trash. There was a big flap a few years ago about Cosmo mag displays at the local grocery stores because the cover photos are quite revealing. The stores compromised by having the mags placed behind a piece of metal or something so that only the title across the top showed. Funny thing is, I don't even know if they still do that because I stopped buying Cosmo sometime back.
