Healing prayers for your wife.  May God hold both your hands through this and guide her to a healthy recovery.  Praying they can find the source of her pain soon and give her relief.

Consider it done.

 

DH had similar symptoms and after some back and forth with a pack of specialists, an excellent general surgeon figured out that the bile duct had become so inflamed that it slammed shut, allowing bile to back up into the system. He became orange as a Sunkist.

 

We live in a rural area, so there were 2 options:  hit it with massive antibiotics, then, if that didn't work, fly him by helicopter to an academic medical center. The antibiotics worked.

 

I hope for a relatively easy solution for your dear wife.
