I can't even wrap my mind around this. :'(
Praying for the deceased, their family and friends, the whole Community of Charleston, and for racial peace.

What a horrible crime, sending prayers to all those involved and for the community of Charleston!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Charleston. It is so good though to see all members of the Charleston community coming together to support one another. ![]()

It is a horrible horrible thing. Evil is evil. And evil should be dealt with accordingly. I hope people will come together and remember, we should be against evil, no matter where it crops up. It shouldn't be tolerated.

Hi Lotus,
This is so tragic! I couldn't sleep last night when I first saw this story last night. ![]()

My heart is broken, my spirit mourns. I love Charleston and its residents. We always spent at least a week at their Spoleto festival every summer, and I've always thought I'd like to live there.
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Psalm 147:3

Sending prayers to all the wonderful people of Charleston. Such a beautiful southern city filled with great people. Such a horrible crime that breaks the hearts of everyone in our entire country and we mourn with you. Senseless and sad that it occurred in a house of worship which should be a place of peace and solace for everyone everywhere.

Prayers to all who are suffering. This hateful act is a strike against all people, as we are all part of the human family.

So it is a Wednesday evening and you plan to go to prayer service. You do this on numerous Wednesday nights. It is your pattern to do this activity. You meet with fellow worshippers in your church. You sing, you pray, you study the Bible. And then you are shot down. For what? Going to church? Being Christian? Being Black? This last 12 months or so have been a source of great sadness for me but this sad incident and Sandy Hook have grieved me so. Such hate, such lack of tolerance. Where does all of this come from?
I can't make any sense out of this and it appears I should not try.
