I was reading an article today about a couple out in the mid-west who dropped their adopted son off at a state agency because they couldn't control him anymore. the boy has anger issues and he has become a handful. He is nine years old and they have had him since he was three months old and the couple also has raised two other siblings.
The county prosecutor has issued an arrest warrant for the couple for child abandonment, he says he can't be given back like he's a pet.
The article hasn't mention whether or not the parents had sought any outside assistance regarding the boy's behavior.
My opinion is that I know the parents are probably exhausted, but they were wrong.
