Those of you with high functioning children on the autistic spectrum.....

How do you feel about the new proposed guidelines? My 6 year old DD has a diagnosis of PDD-NOS .For those of you that don't know what that stands for it is a purvasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified. It's similar to asperger's. Her teacher has talked about how high functiong she is as opposed to some of her other class mates and she is in a class with just high functiong kids. So this makes me wonder if she could be one of the kids that gets cut out if things change. The services she gets at school and in class have made a really positive difference in her life. I am thankful everyday for her teacher and her class. I don't know what we would do without them.
